Wow it has been a really long time since I have used this blog but I feel it is time to revisit. I am having a lot of fun making ceramic spirits for my current project and now *get ready for a material swap* I am all prepped to do some lost wax glass casting! When finished, these small glass pieces will hopefully act as accessories to hand-built porcelain ceramic figures.

Today I am enjoying the sun and doing some floral oil painting in the garden.
Tea Caddy Update: My tests have come out of the kiln! I have been experimenting with slip, glazes and underglaze for the decoration of my tea caddies. The plan is to give each vessel a design that was inspired its contents. I have the patterns in mind but I am still not sure how I want to apply them. The floral painting (in the second image) is a test run of my hawthorn design.
